Solitaire
Classic Klondike: build the four suits from Ace to King.
About Solitaire
Solitaire — also known as Klondike or Patience — is the world's most popular card game for one player. Every deal here is checked by a solver before you see it, so every game can be won; the challenge is to find the way and do it fast.
How to play
Move all 52 cards to the four foundations, building each suit up from Ace to King. In the seven columns, stack cards downwards in alternating colours; only a King can fill an empty column. Tap a card to send it to the best spot, or drag it. Draw from the stock when you're stuck.
Tips and strategies
- Turn over face-down cards as early as possible — they hide the cards you need.
- Don't empty a column unless you have a King ready to move into it.
- Don't rush cards to the foundations: a low card left in the tableau can still hold a useful sequence.
Solitaire strategy guide
Uncover face-down cards first. A move that turns over a hidden card is almost always better than one that doesn't, and the longest columns hide the most cards, so work on them early.
Don't rush cards to the foundations. Low cards can be needed in the columns as landing spots for the other colour; send a card up only when no column needs it.
Empty a column only when a King is ready to fill it, and pick the King whose move frees the most face-down cards. In Draw 3, remember the order of the stock: knowing which cards come round next lets you keep useful ones within reach.
Frequently asked questions
Is every Solitaire game winnable?
Yes. Every deal is checked by a solver before it reaches you, so each game, including the daily deal, can be won with the right moves.
What is the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?
In Draw 1 you turn one card from the stock at a time; in Draw 3 you turn three and can only play the top one, which makes planning harder. In both you can go through the stock as many times as you like.
How is my Solitaire result ranked?
By time: the clock starts with the deal and stops when the last card reaches a foundation. The server replays your moves to check the win before it ranks it.
Can I play Solitaire on my phone?
Yes, right in your phone's browser, with no app to install. Tap Landscape to turn the table sideways with bigger cards, or Full screen to hide the browser bars.
Is Solitaire free to play?
Yes. Every game on Puzzimo is completely free and runs in your browser on desktop, tablet and phone — no download or installation.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play instantly as a guest and still appear on the leaderboards. Sign in with Google, Discord or LINE to keep your scores on every device.
How does the daily Solitaire challenge work?
Every day at 00:00 UTC everyone gets the same new puzzle. Only your first finish of the day counts on the leaderboard.
How are leaderboard results verified?
Our servers replay every move of your game and measure the time themselves, so leaderboard results can't be faked.
